BALAMA GRAPHITE PROJECT (MOZAMBIQUE)
The largest natural graphite mine in the world. The project comprises a mine, processing and bagging plant with name plate capacity of 350,000 tpa of graphite concentrate. After the first full year of operations, Syrah Resources has become the largest producer of graphite globally.
Process E & I were responsible for the detailed electrical, instrumentation and control system engineering for the plant. The project is remotely situated and includes a 14MW power generating plant.
